Join the PECO team, and be a part of one of the nation’s oldest and largest utility companies. We serve the Greater Philadelphia region with approximately 1.6 million electric customers and 504,000 natural gas customers.  Headquartered in Philadelphia, PECO is the state's largest utility, operating and maintaining a network with 550 electric substations, 21,000 miles of distribution and transmission lines, 29 natural gas gate stations and 6,600 miles of underground gas mains.  PECO is committed to the communities we serve.  By joining our innovative team, you will help us more efficiently operate our system and provide new products and services to our customers.

Job Description 

PECO, an Exelon Company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) who will be to provide the best possible service to PECO electric and gas customers. Your duties will include receiving and answering customer's inquiries, furnishing and obtaining information in connection with service orders, electric and gas emergencies, service changes and other customer requests.  PECO CSRs must be available to work various hours including Holidays and during emergency situations 24/7.


Qualifications

Position Requirements:

1.       High School diploma or equivalent.

2.       You must have at least (2) years customer service experience (call center environment is preferred).

3.       You must be able to type a *MINIMUM* of 40 words per minute.

4.       Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

5.       Strong PC Skills and professional telephone etiquette.

6.       Ability to multi-task (type while talking to customers).

7.       Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

8.       You must demonstrate EXCELLENT written & verbal communication skills.

9.       You must have a proven track record of reliability and customer focus.

10.     Fluent in speaking Spanish preferred.

 

Schedule:

 

-This position will be scheduled for 40 hour a week

-You must be available to work core business hours Monday through Friday Monday-Friday 7am-7pm.  However, Customer Care Center hours may vary based upon emergent issues.

-Hours to address Holidays and emergency response needs may be required

-Schedules may vary weekly, and change within (48) hours based on business needs
